New user interface

The user interface in this release has been significantly changed and simplified based on usability testing results. All phrases and notifications in the GUI have been carefully revised, and the interface now provides support for right-to-left languages, such as Hebrew and Arabic. Online help is now integrated into ESET Small Business Security and offers dynamically updated content for support.

Dark Mode

An extension that helps you quickly switch the screen to a dark theme. You can choose your preferred color scheme in UI Elements.

Virus and spyware protection

A modern way to detect and clean most known and unknown viruses, worms, Trojans, and all-access kits. Advanced heuristics identify even previously unknown malware, protecting you from unknown threats and neutralizing them before they harm. Web Access Protection and Anti-Phishing works by tracking communication between web browsers and remote servers (including SSL). “Email Client Protection” provides control over email messages received through the POP3(S) and IMAP(S) protocols.

Regular renovation

Regularly updating the detection system (formerly known as the “virus signature database”) and program modules is the best way to ensure the maximum level of protection for your computer.

You can check the reputation of running processes and files directly from ESET Small Business Security.

Device management

Automatically scans all USB flash drives, memory cards, and CD/DVDs. Blocks portable media based on media type, manufacturer, size, and other attributes.

HIPS functionality

You can customize the behavior of the system in more detail; Set rules for the registry, active processes and programs, and fine-tune the security position.

Gamer Mode

Snoozes any pop-ups, updates, or other system-intensive activities to preserve system resources for games and other full-screen activities.

Safe Banking and Browsing

Secure Banking and Browsing provides a secure browser that you can use when accessing online banking or online payment gateways to ensure that all online transactions take place in a trusted and secure environment.

Support for network signatures

Network signatures allow for the rapid identification and blocking of malicious traffic directed to or coming from user devices, such as bots and exploit packages. This feature can be considered an improvement in protection against botnets.

Prevents unauthorized users from accessing your computer and taking advantage of your personal data.

Anti-spam of email clients

Spam accounts for 50 percent of all email communication. Anti-spam of email customers protects against this problem.

Anti-Theft

Anti-Theft extends user-level protection in the event of a lost or stolen computer. If you install ESET Small Business Security and Anti-Theft, your device will be listed in the web interface. The web interface allows you to manage the configuration of Anti-Theft and administer the Anti-Theft features on your device.
