Windows 10 is Microsoft’s operating system (previous to Windows 11) that was released in 2015 and that you can try for free on your PC, whether it is 32 or 64 bits.
The ISO includes Home and Pro editions, which you can install on your computer depending on the license key you use. The difference between the two lies in the security and features they offer, with Pro being the most complete.
Windows 10 Home
Windows 10 Home is the standard version of this operating system. Although it doesn’t include the features present in the Pro edition, it has everything the average user needs:
Windows Hello: Unlock your computer with facial recognition, fingerprint, or PIN.
Device Encryption – Not to be confused with BitLocker. If activated, only authorized people will be able to access your computer and your data.
Internet Protection: Protect your device from potentially dangerous files, websites, apps, and downloads.
Parental control: protect your children by controlling the time they spend in front of the computer, access to adult content and online purchases.
Secure Boot – To prevent malicious software or unauthorized operating systems from loading when you start the operating system.
Windows Defender: the integrated antivirus that protects your PC from viruses and malware. It also includes firewall and network protection.
Some of the differences with Windows 10 Pro, is that it does not have remote desktop support and the Windows Store is for home use only.
Windows 10 Professional
Windows 10 Professional is the version aimed at small businesses and “power users”. It includes all the features of the Home edition, but with some additional features:
Remote Desktop Connection – To connect to another computer in the domain remotely.
BitLocker – An encryption tool that protects files on your hard drive or external USB flash drives.
Hyper-V Client: Allows you to create virtual partitions to test different operating systems, without the risk of hampering your system.
Windows Defender Application Guard: a kind of “super sandbox” for the Edge browser. This allows you to isolate sessions in a virtual machine (VM) to prevent any malicious activity from reaching the desktop.
Microsoft Update for Business: Allows you to postpone updates for days and days. You update your PC when you want, not when Microsoft decides.
Microsoft Store for Business: The only place to find, manage, and distribute apps to Windows 10 devices in volume.
Windows Sandbox: Available since the May 2019 Update, Windows Sandbox allows you to test applications in an isolated and secure environment, without affecting the main operating system.
Without a doubt, a fairly complete version with features focused on the business sector. If you’re really going to take advantage of these features, then Windows 10 Pro is for you. Otherwise, the Home edition may be sufficient for most users.
Windows 10 Pro / Home:
Note: They are not Cracks or Auto-activated. They are clean install ISOs. Yes!… For a clean installation, which works to be installed in companies.
